Spring COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic

Dear family member and loved ones,

In collaboration with our pharmacy partner, we are having a vaccination clinic for Covid-19 Spring Vaccine (Moderna or Pfizer) today, May 21, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Louis Brier Home and Hospital lobby. The clinic is open for eligible  staff, companions, volunteers, students, and visitors.

A spring booster is recommended for the following populations (COVID-19 immunizations - Province of British Columbia):

  • Adults 65 years of age and older

  • Indigenous adults 55 years of age and older

  • Adult residents of long-term care homes and assisted living facilities (including those awaiting placement)

  • Individuals 6 months and older and who have been diagnosed as clinically extremely vulnerable (a CEV 1 or CEV 2 condition)

You can also come if you have received a notification from the province of BC that you are due for your COVID-19 dose.

This spring program will use the same COVID-19 vaccine in place during the latest respiratory illness season, which is the mRNA vaccine targeting the KP.2 COVID-19 subvariant.

IMPORTANT : Bring your BC Services Card or Driver’s License with your Personal Health Information (PHN) and wear clothing with easy-to-roll sleeves.

The pharmacist can also answer your questions during the vaccination clinic.
