Leading a team of occupational therapists, physiotherapists and rehabilitation assistants, Laurie ensures that residents maximize mobility, strength and balance and reduce their risk of falls. Laurie holds a BSc(PT) from Queens University and has been in the field since 1981. She’s been with the Louis Brier Home & Hospital since 2011.

Renan PassatoreCoordinator, Volunteer Activities and Quality & Risk Management
Renan (Renny) joined the Louis Brier team in March 2021 as the Coordinator for Volunteer Activities and Quality & Risk Management. Renan has a very diverse background in hospitality, travel and tourism, event management, and the healthcare industry. He also possesses an entrepreneurial spirit, having previously owned and operated a travel agency connecting travellers worldwide. Renan has an open-door policy for anyone in the organization. He flourishes in stressful situations, and loves to be challenged. He prides himself on having a positive attitude and teamwork focused mentality, and believes that teamwork is the most significant mentality needed to be successful in his role.
