I’ve had the great pleasure of supporting the amazing team at Louis Brier Home & Hospital over the past year. My main focus was providing dementia education to frontline staff and management, helping them achieve their goal of reducing the use of antipsychotic medications.
I’m thrilled to see that they have not only met their goals but also successfully reduced incidents of aggression among residents. Emphasizing non-drug approaches in dementia care truly represents best practices.
